Exciting thematic, international watercolor workshops are professionally organized and conducted around the world by contemporary watercolorist, teacher and guide Rob Erdle, Regents Professor at the University of North Texas, School of Visual Arts, Denton, Texas. Since 1984, Rob has led watercolor enthusiasts of all ages and levels on unique watercolor expeditions to historic, on-location painting sites. With daily demonstrations, discussions, morning and afternoon painting sessions, the one-on-one personally paced workshops offer expert guidance, advice and insight into the art of watercolor painting. The main goal of the workshops is improving one’s technique and ideas gathered form the culturally inspired plein-air painting locations. Participants create portfolios of paintings, with each workshop concluding in a display and discussion.

Rob Erdle’s expertly conducted workshops began in the Swiss Alps in conjunction with the University of North Texas International Study Abroad Program in 1984. Watercolor Worldwide was incorporated in 1995, and has led painters to no less than ten countries, including England, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and Russia.
